Mohsin Hamid (Urdu: محسن حمید; Born in 23 July 1971) is a Pakistani author, essayist and brand specialist. His books are Moth Smoke (2000), The Reluctant Fundamentalist (2007), How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia (2013), and Exit West (2017). Hamid moved to London in the late spring of 2001, at first planning to remain just a single year. In spite of the fact that he much of the time came back to Pakistan to compose, he kept on living in London for a long time, turning into a double native of the United Kingdom in 2006. In 2004 he joined the brand consultancy Wolff Olins, working just three days seven days in order to hold time to compose.
